While serving in the U.S. Special Operations Command, he was in charge of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Division. He also served with the Health Hazards Control Branch in the Air Enforcement Division before moving on to the private industry and eventually forming Rhino Demolition & Environmental Services, Corp. Chuck’s experience in the Armed Forces and private industry has taken him from hands on field work to providing expert solutions in the environmental field. Chuck’s high commitment to safety and excellent ratings is reflected in his adherence to all OSHA, EPA and state regulations. By his constant training of his employees and governing state rules, Rhino is known in the industry as the company you can call and count on to get the job done safely, on time, and under budget. Chuck Provides leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry. He develops strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and goals to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. He oversees the company’s internal operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. In his spare time, Chuck enjoys the outdoors, boating, fishing, motorcycles, and camping, along with spending family time and participating in activities with his wife and four sons. He has recently picked up cycling and completed his first 100+ mile race in 2017. Jacob SmithVice President Email Jacob Read Jake's Bio Close Jake Smith's Bio Jake has grown up with Rhino Demolition the past 10+ years. He began in the field as a worker and with constant training and learning of the trade from the ground up, he now oversees the day-to-day operations. As Vice President Jake Helps oversee and manage the business. He sees to it that the operation of the company is at its fullest. He uses and thinks of strategic methods to improve processes leading to the success of the company. He helps provide guidelines in operation to ensure maximum success. He provides helpful programs to attain growth and profit for the business. He is able to create higher ROI and optimization of work flow. He implements better procedures and management methods. He helps generate strategies and policies associated with the goals of the organization. Jake has superb oral and written communication skills. He is able to inspire and keep effective working relationship with employees and partners. To accomplish goals, he relies on work experience and planned judgement. Away from work, he enjoys being with his wife, two daughters, and his English Bulldog “Tank”. He enjoys living at the beach and making the short trip to the mountains. He enjoys an active lifestyle, watching Professional and College Sports, Fishing, Boating, and volunteering time coaching youth wrestling. Justine WestOffice Manager/Executive Assistant Email Justine Read Justine's Bio Close Justine West's Bio Justine has been with Rhino Demolition for many years and holds a key role in the company’s internal operation. At any given day she wears multiple hats and deals with a wide range of tasks. She handles the day-to-day administrative tasks that have been assigned by the executive team along with Pre-construction coordination in addition to Office Management, and Bookkeeping. Justine has a BA in International Studies from George-Mason University. She studied at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia as a part of the Study Abroad Program. Away from work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing on the beach, playing pool, watching movies, traveling, and trying different types of food. Steve YountProject Estimator/Safety Manager Email Steve Read Steve's Bio Close Steve Yount's Bio Steve has been with Rhino Demolition for a few years now and has been a pleasure to work with. He comes from a large Construction Company in Hickory, North Carolina. He has over 40 years’ experience from every aspect of a Construction site. Professional experience includes; Construction of Industrial Sites, Warehouses, Distribution centers, Commercial projects, Retail stores, Malls, Grocery Stores, Medical offices and facilities, and Educational Facilities such as Schools, and Colleges. Also, Constructing Hotel sites for clients such as Hilton and Hampton Inn. His knowledge has been very helpful in all phases of our work, from estimating to on site work activities. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, taking his new boat out on the water, and enjoying everything that comes with living at the beach. John “Jay” NeerPurchasing/Warehouse Manager Email Jay Read Jay's Bio Close John “Jay” Neer's Bio Jay has recently joined the Rhino family this year and has already put his experience in warehousing and purchasing to use to help make a great company better. Jay has over 15 year’s experience in warehouses. He has worked in facilities as small as 35,000 square feet all the way up to 85,000 square feet and responsible for inventories over one million dollars. He also has over 2 year’s experience in purchasing. Jay enjoys cooking and traveling with his family in his spare time. His goal is to visit all 50 states.
